Meet Our Dental Team Athens

Jennifer | Operations Manager

Jennifer has been with us since 1999! She attended the University of Georgia and has over 25 years of dental experience. She is knowledgeable in both front and back office duties (having previously served as a dental assistant, receptionist, and office manager), and is always happy to flow between the two to help out as needed. She goes above and beyond to ensure our patients feel welcome and comfortable with us. Jennifer and Troy have been married for over 30 years and enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and spoiling their four grandchildren.

Ally | Patient Care Coordinator

Ally joined our team in October 2022 and started her dental career in 2020 after graduating from the University of North Georgia. Ally and her husband, Mason, have three golden retrievers, Annie, Charlie, and Willie, whom they adore and love taking to visits at Lake Hartwell. Ally and Mason recently added to their family but welcoming their daughter, Palmer. Otherwise, you’ll find them all curled up on the couch watching UGA football. She loves being a member of the team at Athens Dental Associates, and her favorite part is that when anyone walks in the door, they feel like family!

Erica | Dental Hygienist

Erica joined our team in 2021 and started her dental career in 2017. She graduated from Athens Technical College as a Registered Dental Hygienist in May 2021 and is passionate about providing our patients with the best care possible to meet their oral hygiene goals. She loves giving our patients the ultimate experience at each visit and enjoys working with our team. Erica and her husband, Josh, have young triplets (two girls and a boy) as well as two dogs that lovingly take up all of their free time.

Kelli | Lead Dental Assistant

Kelli joined us in November 2016 and entered the dental field directly out of high school, graduating from Gwinnett Technical College in 2002 as a Certified Dental Assistant. She has her Expanded Functions certification and has experience with sleep apnea treatment, CEREC, 3D printing, and clear aligner orthodontics. Kelli loves the way our team works so well together and how we are more like a family than coworkers. She has earned the nickname “MacGyver” around the office - you can count on her to fix almost anything! Kelli is married to her high school sweetheart, Wayne. Together they have an adult son, Sam, his wife Casey and beautiful granddaughter, Haven and two dogs. Outside of work, Kelli enjoys woodworking, crafting, traveling, and listening to country music.

Danielle | Dental Assistant

Danielle joined us in 2023 and brings over a decade of experience to our practice. She deeply enjoys putting smiles on people’s faces after they’ve had a pleasant dental experience. Danielle has taken many continuing education courses throughout her career and earned her Expanded Functions certification. She is the proud mother of two wonderful children and has an amazing boyfriend. When she isn’t with family, she likes to relax on the weekends while trying new recipes and watching Georgia football (Go Dawgs!).

Emalee | Dental Assistant

Emalee says that the best thing about her job is being able to help people become more confident and educated about their oral health at the same time. A graduate of Athens Technical College with her Expanded Functions certification, her hobbies include going to concerts, trying new restaurants, working out, and playing with her two puppies.

Hannah D. | Dental Hygienist

Hannah has been with us since September 2023, and nothing makes her more excited than meeting patients and sharing her knowledge about how to enhance their oral health. She began her career as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant before earning her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Athens Technical College (winning the Hinman Scholar Award and Excellence in Instrumentation Award as a student). Hannah and her husband, Josh, are kept busy by their variety of animals, which include three dogs, two cats, and 11 chickens.

Shelly | Patient Care Coordinator

Shelly likes being a part of ADA because “we work hard to maintain a family-oriented and personable environment so that we can serve our community well.” She always looks forward to talking with patients, whether it's over the phone or in the office, and making sure they get the best care possible. She has a B.S. in Psychology and worked in the spa and wellness industry before joining our team. An Athens native, she is married to Jack and shows her passion for music by playing the piano, French horn, ukulele, and singing. She and her husband serve on the worship team at their church and also like to play pickleball.

Hannah C. | Dental Hygienist

Being able to connect with patients and help them improve in countless ways by boosting their oral health knowledge always makes Hannah feel great about what she does. She earned her Associates in Dental Hygiene from Fortis College and has over five years of experience. Other than dentistry, she loves her husband, their dog and two cats, being outdoors, and collecting dimes.
